Clarko's left JKT languishing with Box Hill again. I find this confusing as my impression of KJKT was that he started the season very well. He was solid for his first ever game against Melbourne in round one, then excellet against north in round 5. His effort against Essendon in Roud 6 was average but he was dropped immediately and hasn't looked like returning.

Does anyone have an inside word on his chances of playing more games?

JKT has gone the same way as Morton, Muston, Shiels, Moss, and Suckling. All replaced by better, more experienced players.

I think JKT, like Shiels, will get another opportunity. The others might have limited futures at HFC and might be traded like Kennedy and McGlynn.

Players like JKT, Moss, Shiels, Morton etc are depth players at this stage..

Unless we have injuries, their senior call ups will be limited.

It will get even tougher when Gibson, Bateman..Taylor/Bailey are knocking on the door..

GO HAWKS :thumbsu:

only reason i would miss him in the team is because i used a trade on him in SC and he went up 50 bucks :(

Otherwise... YOUNG is soooo much better then him... and we have good quicks in our team atm... a lot harder players like Burgers Young Hooper Cyril... and with Bateman coming... KT is not gonna get a game for a while

Not sure about soft...he dived in hard against Melbourne, when Green go knocked out.

But not quite strong enough to get his arms free in a tackle, and not ready for the pace of the game.

A depth player, and insurance in case Clinton didn't get up.

Clinton did, and KT is where he should be... a reserve

JK-T is a Rookie listed player & funnily enough, plays like one. Being a rookie suggests that he is a bit of a project - he obviously had something that the recruitment team liked but not enough for a full time gig so they took advantage of the purpose designed draft & brought him in - as a rookie... Their job is now to use what they liked about him & develop what he lacks so that he either gets a spot on the senior list or gets flicked.

I would suggest that nothing has happened to him - he is doing exactly what a rookie should over 3 odd games... hopefully in 20 odd weeks time he is doing what a senior player should & our recruiters are left with a tough decision on their hands.
