****ing tip top movieDrive (2011)
Had a re-watch last night. The atmosphere in this film is off the charts and Gosling totally nails it.
One of my favourite films of all time. 10/10
Wayne's World is one of my favourite movies of all time, GREAT shout.
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark
Not sure what this movie was trying to be. The title makes it seem like it's going to be a Goosebumps type horror for kids and a lot of the movie comes across as that.
But there are some scenes in there that definitely aren't child appropriate so not sure exactly who they were aiming it at. Nevertheless it wasn't a bad watch.
6/10
Which one? The 70s version slaps but there's been a couple of remakes.Black Christmas - geez, what’s the level below $hithouse?
I got around to watching the 70s version over weekend. Was great!Which one? The 70s version slaps but there's been a couple of remakes.
The 2019 remake. Absolute arse.Which one? The 70s version slaps but there's been a couple of remakes.
We cant forget this guy
Its 30 minutes too long
As part of my Xmas marathon I watched Die Hard - probably 30+ years since I watched it - and I dont think it left me with any more fascination than it did then
I dont hate it . Its a competent action movie with cartoon heroes and cartoon baddies. But I have no emotional connection that others seem to have
The lines are iconic and the interplay is ok. Its just ehh. Maybe a tighter shorter movie might have helped but its not in my top 50 movies and its not in my top 20 Xmas movies
I'm ready

I've just lit a match under the sprinklers and the fire brigade are on their way
Watching it right now and hope to follow it up with DH 2 straight after
It's essentially the perfect movie and with added bonus Christmas references!

In a Violent Nature - Too many slow walks, ok to show that at start but just wanted to press fast fwd. Just a gory slasher with some dumb kills. Was not scary and not even that creepy just silly - 3/10
And with all due respect to Tom Holland, there’s not a great body of work to suggest he’s really gonna carry the emotional weight of a movie like this.New Nolan movie has come out with casting and plot details. Has Hollywood completely stopped doing casting calls to find unknown’s for lead actors? Seems to be recycling of the same established people
