The first time I got to see some boobs was this film.

The dad of one of my friends when I was a kid whose mum was friends with my mum asked him to take us to a kids movie.

He said f*** that and took us to see a James Bond movie instead, we weren't complaining, he said don't tell your mothers.

I've been a big fan of Sheena Easton ever since, one of the great Bond themes.

Smile 2. Not as good as the first one but not bad.
My only gripes were whether 1 character really needed to die so early, and the predictable nature of the ending.

Found it pretty creepy and effective though, a worthy sequel.

I adore Sheena Easton.

Requiem for a Dream. I asked a friend for a recommendation that would be bleak enough to suck all the joy outta my soul, and this nailed it. Ellen Burstyn was incredible.
It's a semi regular watch in our house

She's amazing in it

Step Brothers… feeling sick and wanted something I didn’t need to think about and wouldn’t be mad if I fell asleep. It’s obviously immature but so so funny. So many memorable scenes. Good pick-me-up. 7.5/10

Every rewatch I find something new to laugh about. It’s probably my all time favourite comedy

Challengers

Rewatch to confirm that it is good. PSA: It's good.

The score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross is an all time banger.

The last scene is a little dragged out, but otherwise it's really entertaining.

Josh O'Connor plays such an oddly likeable slimeball and makes the movie work imo.

Zendaya shows she can act too.

8/10

HOW do you watch this more than once
others might feel different, but to me personally that great film, will never watch again adage tends to be a pet hate of mine, cringe 99% of the time someone trots that empty cliche out (not directed at you, it’s a widespread meme)

but hey, I watched Threads twice this week and wouldn’t mind a third helping, maybe it just isn’t something that applies to me, maybe I’m just a defective twisted bleak-thirst sort and should accept that
wind produces GIF

Requiem is an enjoyable addictive piece of cinema, one I can watch repeatedly. Nothing edgelord about it for me, I’m unashamed about the things I like, not out to impress anyone.
