The line up on the ABC in the eighties of Inspector Gadget, Rodger Ramjet, Astro Boy, Voltron (of course followed by two of the greatest programmes of all time The Goodies and Dr Who) would be hard to top ....

have u noticed theyve made a comback i was telling someone the other day and theyre like 'what? did they exist before now?' YES! haha

and clifford the big red dog, i think its gay now, but i used to like it!!
along with the jetsons and inspector gadget, id forgotten about those until i saw them in this thread.

ive always hated the simpsons tho

Good to see I'm not the only one that remembers them!

I got the video out the other day when I had my little cousins around (it was for them.. I swear! ) and it had their "cousins" in it too (ie. tenderheart Lion, gentle heart Lamb, strong heart elephant - some ****ed up family!). Ahhhh memories.

Oh dear, I can think of tons of cartoons I grew up with in the 80s but the ones that I remember most (thanks to occasional replays on Cartoon Network) were the Smurfs, Snorks, He-Man, Tansformers, Flintstones and Jetsons. A few more, perhaps.

More recent years, I've leaned more towards Japanese animation shows such as Dragon Ball Z. What an awesome series that is!
