22 April i think, we have a huge thread on it
It is April 22, thanks blaze.
That's the problem with huge threads. Most of us don't have the time to go through the whole thread to find the bit we want to talk about.

We need to keep this one going so that it becomes a huge thread too. Anyway, I think it was 22nd April...... pass it on...
Anyone care to give odds on possible/likely sentences? Could he be back in action for us on Anzac Day? Who would we play him on?
About 11.45am, they like to hand down sentences before lunch. What time on April the 22nd?
Is this from personal experience?About 11.45am, they like to hand down sentences before lunch.
If Marley avoids Jail, it would be a huge monkey off my back, ive been stressing about this for a while now. Not stressing as its been ruining my life but stressing as in we could lose a future star of the competition and that would annoy me more than anything. Absolute gun he is, i would love for him to available for Anzac day as its my first game for this season, and i see no reason why he couldnt slot straight back into the seniors as he isnt coming back from injury.
I reckon jail time
Ur generally considered pretty stiff to get jail time for ur first offence, but the charge being upgraded to GBH will certainly not help his cause
First offence of GBH or first offence in general?
In the assault area, there are many different types in the different states, but usually for your first assault you do not go to jail. GBH is one of the most serious forms of assault though, but for a kid with no criminal history and only a small chance of re-offending in the future I would think his lawyers will be pretty confident of avoiding jail

What do you suppose the judge will have for lunch on April the 22nd?About 11.45am, they like to hand down sentences before lunch.
If he does go to jail it would be in the 2-3 month vicinity I would say, not career ending
