I have seen him play. He is potentially an unbelievable footballer, but he is not a Champ. Maybe one day, but please don't throw this term around loosley. Buckley is a Champ, Hird is a Champ, Harvey is a Champ, Voss is a Champ. Carlton greats such as Doull and Kernahan are champs. Murphy is not a champ.

At this point in time he'd have to be favourite for the brownlow this year in the eyes of the wise football supporter. He's an absolute lock to win it at least twice, and at the rate he's going I'd be quite happy to predict he becomes the first player to win 4 of them.

i was just showing the stats. IMO Murphy could be very close to Judd but no one will be as good as judd. He is just incredible. I'm just showing in the first season murphy had a better year stat wise

I agree with you there, of course he's not a champion (yet). But to deny he is a very good possibility at winning a Brownlow in the future is ignorance.

No, I've seen a lot of Murph play. His progress has surprised me, but he already has superstar qualities. BTW watch out for Gibbs - I saw glimpses last night that justified his "best #1 draft pick in 25 years" tag. It's going to be great for all footy fans watching, elite top-shelf talents like Murph and Gibbs take the game to a new level. I'm expecting a bit of a rollercoaster ride for the young Blues team over the next 12 months or so, but haven't they got some serious talent now. Exciting times ahead for Blues fans.
