Oh and gifted a flag, if it was gifted to us then the AFL must have planted a weak opposition so we could win it. Think about it........
In summation, Sydney fans take pride in our team. Our list consists of hard at it players who play as a TEAM, something the WCE know nothing about. We take pride in the 2005 flag, it was won as a result of pure hard work. Unfortunately, the 2006 flag will forever be tainted.

Couldn't have replied better than that. The Eagles are damn lucky we didn't go back-to-back. They should be grateful they grabbed one premiership with the list they've had over the last five years. Funny thing about these ones is that it's not the action that is taken, but how the media beats it up which decides whether the game is in 'disrepute'.

The Cousins issue could have been handled behind closed doors, but the media beat it up, hence the disrepute.

Forget about the disrepute rule - is a stupid one anyway. Could cover anything. A player getting a speeding fine in a miniscule way is bringing the game into disrepute. What I really want to know is what happened to the much trumpeted "no-DH rule" that Sydney had? Did it quietly slip from view once the PR part of it had worked its charm? If clubs (any club) want to put out this type of PR BS and get the good press, then they have to be pulled up on it when it is shown not to be a real policy.
