they go on sale wednesday

If its anything like 07 expect about 20,000 max 25,000

And if it's anything like 07 they'll go VERY fast.

If you're taking people, get them on the phone (so you can tell each other if youve made it on to the site or not) to you and infront of a pc just before 9 am. Both try to get on the site and only stop when one of you book a set of tickets. I managed to get 4 tickets through public sale last time. Got em at 9.03 and they were all gone by about 9.08 for memory. Was crazy.

Another trick is if you know someone in NSW Or Brisbane. Get them to go down to the local tickettex place. Being in NSW there isnt anyone there and you will be the first person in line and have a booking at 9.01am.

Well, my friend only just got the tickets after being in the line since... well I dont know when, not early enough apparently. 3rd level of the Olympic was sold out, so now I'm in the 3rd level, 3rd row, Southern Stand right behind the goals. And he ended up getting the $112 ones! We better win this game!!! :p

(P5 to be exact)

That's a smart idea, might try to do that.

Last time I lined up at 6am and got alright seats for what was available. Do people think this is early enough or should I go even earlier?

Lining up is my only option seeing as I can't trust my crappy internet. I was on the site from 8.30am today but still couldn't get on until about 10 and by that time MCC visitors were sold out.

Really don't want to miss this game, it's going to be even better than last week vs Adelaide, that crowd (although was only 62,000) was the loudest I have ever been in, except for maybe the '03 I think it was, ANZAC day..

I hope there is still good/decent tickets available for the public on Wednesday...

Please god please let there be some left over..

Carn The MAGGIEESS!!

Did anyone use the internet this morning? Did it go okay? I've got to get mine on my afl membership tomorrow, just wondering if the internet will be okay to use like the last 2 weeks which worked well?

Are any AFL silver members going to wait until tomorrow, or have has everyone bought them today?

afl silver member here & i snapped up mine by 9.05. I wasn't going to pay guest pass prices of $100+ to sit with supporters of other clubs who are full afl members.

Why would Silver members wait until tomorrow? There is no guest passes available for the game, which means Silver AFL members cannot purchase a ticket in the AFL Members. (Only Full Members can)

Silver Members with Collingwood or Geelong Support can book a ticket in their club members section though.

MCC Members,

M48 CC- Just undercover, but can still see the bigscreen, right on the wing.
:eek::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Logged on at 9AM,and had the tickets by 9.02 in my inbox after still having to type in 3 barcodes.
Lucky bastard!

I was trying to get them from 8.30 and still couldn't get them!:(

I was trying to get a seat for 1 Geelong member with our 6 Pies but it wouldn't allow us to sit together - is that right? Makes sense I suppose! :)
We were trying to get tickets with one Geelong membership and three AFL memberships, but they wouldn't let us get them together.

Anyway, we'll be in Q11, Row A.

What type of AFL members were they?, because Full Members don't go on sale till tomorrow.

But Silver members who hold a club support of Geelong or Collingwood can just buy a normal club reserved seat.

I was trying to book Collingwood and Geelong club support Silver members together, and I assume Vinnie was trying to do the same thing.

Wouldn't allow it, online it said something like 'no common entitlements'?
