Where will ROK end up?

we have a superior list and better young talent.

essendon will not make the finals in 2009 or 2010 (o'keefe's two primal years out of the four he has to offer) and as i said, you will not win a cup in the next five years (when o'keefe is still playing).

your superior list lost to an injury ravaged essendon not once but twice this year...

Now O'Keefe needs to decide whether he wants to go to the Dons - not exactly an attractive prospect given their poor list and coaching situation. He'll probably stay at the Swans. :)

The same poor list that whacked your guys twice this season?

The same first year coach that outsmarted wondercoach Brett Ratten?

the funny thing is even other supporters of your own team hate you and think your a w***er.
Why does parrot have unlisted as her team if she's a Carlton supporter?

ROK has no chance of challenging for a flag with Essendon.

Even at full strength, Essendon will struggle to make the eight next year with their backline, midfield and ruck division.

ROK should be allowed to avoid the uncertainty of the PSD and join the club of his choice after ten years in Sydney.

Unless O'Keefe needs to return home for family reasons, he'd be better offer staying at Sydney than joining Essendon for big dollars. The Swans should be able to pay him more money to stay after the axing of Davis and the retirement of Everitt.

Handing out a four year contract to sign a 28 year old is excessive if it costs you $2 million.

I'd smirk if ROK landed at an interstate club.

According to parrot, the Blues shouldn't pick ROK because he's only after money, whereas Judd, Warnock and all the other huge names they've lured recently (Hadley and Pfeiffer lol ), are at Carlton for the jumper.

Why would the Blues want a no-upside oldie?

Oh sorry, the Tiges lure really big names like McMahon  Plus Richmond makes the biggest draft blunders out of all the clubs. Also, your clubs aim each year is to finish 9th, it's like a flag to you guys. :thumbsu: I wonder what you guys are paying all the duds on your list. oh and please tell me Shultz is gone

I still don't understand the McMahon trade. Miller coughed up a low 2nd round pick in a good draft, even though he had the #1 PSD pick. So in theory they could have got him for zip, or at worst used it as leverage to trade a latter pick. At the end of the day the Tiges way overpaid for a very ordinary footballer. A complete disaster whatever way you look at it. :)

We got Gourdis with the #1 PSD pick. I agree that we should've given a 4th rounder for McMahon, but we can't do anything about it now, can we?

Look to the future! :)

leeARM and ethdog face it-
essendon are floaters, you're going no where in the next five years atleast becauseyou never commited to re-building. if you are going to be shit, be f'ing shit (carlton 05-07 and west coast 08) therefore you get the good picks and actually come back from a lean patch stronger.
you're spine consists of oldies who will retire soon leaving you where? (fletcher, lucas, lloyd).

there is no point of him coming to you and he knows it.
it's also against your youth policy.

SHEEDY wasnt committed to rebuilding, knights OBVIOUSLY is, that's why we're not "floating" anymore. and staying at the bottom to get draft picks is called tanking, its what shit clubs do. you can get good players that arent number 1 draft picks (james hirds a very good example) and confidence is built up a lot quicker when you actually win games.
