Tim Evans, Russell Ebert and Brian Cunningham. Recently Wanganeen, Choppy and Chad and a player I loved from another team back in the 80s was Grenville Dietrich. Chuck in a Scotty Hodges, a Pooley, Fiacchi and Delaney, also Trigger. Throw in Tredders. Loved Meady too. Also a soft spot for Mods but don't tell anyone. Also a Capper and Healy fan. Corey McKernan, massively underrated, he ran amok.

I'm assuming young = tweens to early teens here, ie early-mid 80s for me.

WAFL; Don Langsford (Swan Districts captain and wore no.11 as did I. He was inaugral WCEsquad member but never played)

VFL; Lethal

Also was a big fan of Roger Luders - the 80's version of Mods

My primary school was not too far from Richmond Oval where West Adelaide was based. True, Luders was the Modra of the early 80s, especially in the inner western suburbs where Richmond Oval is based. When Luders would drive past my school, in his Celica I think from memory, all the school girls would run to the front fence going ape over him. His hair was usually a bit longer than that depicted in the pic.
