Was honestly a little devo Bont didn't get the Brownlow last year. Hope he pulls it off this time.

He deserves it, but when I look back on how great past players are, as a consideration the Brownlow is pretty far down the list for me. Matthews, Carey, Gaz Snr etc never won it, but no one would put Ollie Wines or Tom Mitchell ahead of them. It's just an umpires pet midfielder award now.

Don't worry, we'll be talking about Bont, Trac as the greatest players of this generation with or likely ahead of Cripps, Neale, as good as they are too.

When he was younger had one of the worst cases of 'white-line fever' since the 80's.
Has curbed that in the past few years though.

From other clubs, I always have time for McCluggage and Harris Andrews from the Lions, and as many others have said Bont and Trac.

Steele and Heeney are two good honest hard players that just play the game.
Very rarely have a quiet one and even if things aren't going their way they just battle it out.
No dirty stuff or dummy spits they just play the game.

Bont and Cripps when on fire just go to another level of unstoppable and are also just good honest footballers.
