Prediction Which potential ruckmen would you prefer?

Tries his guts out, no one can deny that but not his natural position. Hard for him to get a game forward when we've got Allen and Waterman, just picked up Shanahan and last year Archer Reid then also have Jack Williams developing nicely as a forward and second ruck option. KPD is probably the only spot for him long term in the best 22 but has never played there.

I’m on the record here as saying he would be an off the wall target to fill a KPD sized hole, especially now when lock down big men are hard to find.

He’s got good athleticism, not averse to physical contact, and is brave in the air. I reckon he could be a Ross Lyon special in a Dawsonesque kind of way.

Happy to chat provided we can get a pure ruck of our own as cover for Flynn. Free agent end of 2026. Ross does love an athlete and Bailey has a very good leap and moves well.

We need a pure tap ruck to feed the mids. When he can’t use his leap he gets beaten and he’s always second to the tap. Gets monstered by rucks like Witts and O’Brien. He has plenty of fans on our board, I’m just not one of them. Might be better suited in a different system with a stronger midfield.

Great athlete, can take a contested mark, doesn’t miss games and can win his own clearance. Depends what type of ruck you’re after I suppose. We need Flynn, but a fit Flynn.
