Which team has the best group of aboriginal players?

No way, Port wins this thread or is at least top 2 as far as I'm concerned:

P.Burgoyne, S Burgoyne, D.Motlop, M.Motlop, Rodan, Carlie (not sure if he is aboriginal though), Krakouer, W.Thompson.

I'm still probably forgetting someone.

Rodan is Fijian.

But you got the colour right! :thumbsu:

Rodan and Carlisle are both Fijian, not aboriginal

For me:

1. Port Adelaide (1. S Burgoyne, 2. D Motlop 3. P Burgoyne 4. Pearce 5. Krakoeur) - All quality players
2. Hawthorn (1. Franklin 2. Rioli 3. Bateman 4. Williams 5. Stokes) - Stokes lets the others down, but Franklin is the best Aboriginal player in the league with Rioli to stake his claim over the next 5 years.
--some distance--
3. Essendon (1. Lovett 2. Ryder 3. Dempsay 4. Davey 5. Lovett-Murray) - Not a bad list of youngsters. Only Lovett and Ryder are star players.
4. Fremantle (1. M Johnson 2. Headland 3. Hayden 4. Grover 5. Hill) - A good mix of young and senior players. Since Headland's demise, no superstars

And the rest are pretty similar with no clear 5th place

This, except have Hawthorn just above Port.

Strongly disagree, throw Dempsey onto that list as well.

Lmfaooooo.
Rodans used to playing bum sniffer sport hence why he steps

1.Port : Burgoynes x2, pearce, krakour, motlops, thompson,- 4 good players being burgoynes motlop, and pearce, krakour is showing something this year.
2.Hawks, Buddy, Batemen, Rioli, Stokes - three good players.
3.Essendon Ryder, dempsey, lovet, lovet-muarry, Davey - Two good players, Ryder and Lovet, but both are probably finally having an impact on the game. Dempsey& davey can be good hear and there, Lovet-muarry complete dick.
4.Sydney- Goodes, O'louglihn - We know both can play 2 premiership medals and 2 brownlows from two stars of aboriginal football.
5.Fremantle- Johnson, Hill, Hayden, Grover, Headland- Hill has alot of potential needs to hit the gym in the off season very much like pearce was in his first season. Johnson is a good backmen say with hayden grover havent noticed much about him and headlands times gone.

geelong: stokes, travis and adam varcoe, djerrkurra, ediriwickrama, stevon motlop

not there yet but lot of potential in that group

the last 5 could easily be in geelong's best 22 through the next 3-5 years

could have looked a lot nicer with andrew lovett playing for us aswell

Wells, Campbell, LT, Gibson, Gartlett and Warren Benjiman is Norths.

I'd say the Hawks, Dons and Port would have the best at the moment.

Port or Essendon would win this thread. Hawthorn third.

North Melbourne have : Wells, Thomas, Campbell, Gibson (not sure if he's actually an indigenous Australian), Garlett

If memory serves me well, I think Gibson's Dad is American, so no, not Indigenous Australian.

Edit: Actually, make that West Indian.

Bombers for mine, Ryder is about to explode and become one of the elite players of the comp.

Hawthorn easily with Franklin Rioli Bateman Williams - 1 superstar, two bona fide stars and a very good player. I think Port have got the Bombers covered with the Burgoynes although is Peter in the twilight?
