Will Brisbane make the 8? - I look at their list and i really do not rate it ( arm chair expert here ) . Think they have played out of their skin last 2 years to achieve what they have. Had a huge advantage last year with so many games in QLD.

In the end, 9th or 15th. Same shit really.
But I do think you've turned a corner, like Carlton (though Cripps being a no show may change that).

15th spot gives Freo a top 5 pick. 9th gives us pick 10.
Not that I endorse tanking. I rather finish 14th-16th and get pick 3-5 than 9th and get pick 10.
I don't think Freo have turned the corner.... Yet.. If we make finals then we have turned the corner. The worst part of the rebuild is already past is and that's when Freo went 0-10 in 2016.

Well you don't want to constantly finish 9th like Richmond did from 1994-2008. And yes I felt sorry for Matthew Richardson who can only say he played finals in 2001 as he was injured for Richmond in 1995.
Saying that Freo and port did that trade a couple of years back.... Freo traded pick 6 and a future 3rd rounder and got picks 11, 23, 31 and 49. Not a bad deal for Freo in the end.
Saying that if Freo finish 14th and have pick 5.
I am more than happy to trade pick 5 and 41 or future 3rd rounder for the 9th teams 1st, 2nd and 3rd which is 10, 28 and 46.
I think they'll probably still make the finals, especially since they have a huge home-ground advantage every second week, but they have had an incredibly good run with injuries over the past couple of seasons.

We all need to accept Geelong will make finals this season. It's as certain as Ross Lyon having defensive tactics lol
Geelong have an extraordinary advantage with their home ground so they're rarely going to miss the 8.

Agree with the first part. So who comes in?
Not buying Melbournes form as of yet, just beat us and we were bad that night.
Freo similar formline to Melbourne, St Kilda, need more evidence.
Sydney and Gold Coast to replace saints/pies my guesstimate.

Sydney and Melbourne to come in. Melbourne are not convincing at all and I think they’ll just make the 8. If not then Collingwood will retain their spot.

St Kilda's double-ups are crazy difficult.
Geelong, Richmond, Port Adelaide, West Coast and Sydney. It'd take a huge effort to make it.
Sydney on the other hand are probably finishing top 4. Their double ups:
