Hawthorn for basically the reasons stated by maxmustard hereHawks for me pretty easily. Great win at Geelong especially because 186 and ruining their celebrations. They were a mediocre team last year though finishing 10th plus we played better this time around imo.
2012.Good question, arguments for both:
Geelong
- Gawns breakout game
- Burying 186
- Roos tactical brilliance (Not saying he didn't have it in the Hawthorn game because he did, but everything he did worked against Geelong)
Hawthorn
- Young talent time
- Beat the top of the ladder side for the first time since ???

Will clean up the Bluey Tapscott. It's a shame there is no betting market for itUnlikely because of position but Gawn really should poll well at the Brownlow, most of his good performances in wins are easily 3 vote games.
Hawthorn. Because that win put us on the map as a team that doesn't feature Lamumba and Dawes. And Rohan Bail FFS. You can't immortalise a game with Rohan Bail in it.Which win do you think would you look back at as the win that put our team back on the map and set us up for an exciting and hopefully successful future.
Anyone ever suggest to you that sometimes you can think a bit too far outside the box?186. Without it we wouldn't be here now.
I'm so far outside the box I nearly ran into Cale Morton, but he squibbed out of the contact.Anyone ever suggest to you that sometimes you can think a bit too far outside the box?

Nothing in the Bailey and neeld years, probably that win in geelong in 05 after 17 years of losing at the cattery to get back in finals contention.Hawthorn win in a canter, nothing since we last made finals comes close.
