Speaking of Cale Morton and outside the box, I just realised that Mack Horton (Dees supporting Olympic swimmer) is a spoonerism of Hack Morton.
Why is it that every high profile Melbourne supporter is a bit of a wang?

For me it was Geelong.

From memory Melbourne beat a Geelong team, in Geelong, that was pretty much full strength. And we had the following in the team:-
- Rohan Bail
- Chris Dawes
- Matt Jones
- Jimmy Toumpas

All who did not rank that high at the end.

And Geelong was the game that Gawn emerged as an elite level ruck.

Not to take away from the Hawks, but we beat them at home, and we beat them with nearly a full best 22 team. And for the Hawks:-

- This is a team that has an out of form Gunston (I believe the real Gunston should of kicked around 5 goals)
- They had Stratton out early (who is freaking huge for them).
- They are missing Puopolo, Shiels, Hartung and Frawley.
- (I hate to be snide here) but hill has been a passenger for a while now. And Bruest has little to no *team* ethic when within the 50 metre zone of the goals.

This game will be more remembered (by me) for the glimpse I got of Weiderman more than anything.

A win is a win though.

I want to see the best teams come up against Melbourne and get beaten, not some shadow of a former champion team. Except for the Grand Final, I will cheerfully sit through a non-event as long as it is Melbourne that is winning :)

Will clean up the Bluey Tapscott. It's a shame there is no betting market for it
Thought you would be on your son for the Bluey

186. Without it we wouldn't be here now.

I blame Brock McLean, he turned over a kick coming out of the backline in the last quarter when we were making a run in the semi in 2006 against Freo
Cost us our rightful premiership

Was still probably second or third best for us. Granted that was everyone that wasn't shit.

His stkilda game was the best youngsters final game I've ever seen in the red and blue, Followed by Greeny tearing the blues a newy in the qualifying final
