28 touches and almost a goal a game this year. Flies under the radar a fair bit.

Yes was going to say Gardiner. Or even our entire back line minus Harris. A Hawks fan posted before the game that our defense sans Harris is not that good. Lets just ignore Hodge, Rich in AA form, Gardiner,Witherden and emerging guns in Bailey and Answerth

Answerth gave Bruest an absolute pasting. Looks like a quality young defender. James Worpel definitely belongs on this list. According to BJ Goddard has regressed which just goes to show how little it seems the media has been paying attention. Has arguably outperformed his more heralded group of mids and in his 2nd full year of footy. Ultra consistent and at times a clearance beast this year.

I can't believe not many people have mentioned Kane Lambert. His inside, outside work is exceptional. An elite runner and was in the 40 man AA squad 2018. His run and pace is perfect for the Tigers

Disagree about the grimes shouts he’s been getting the attention since Rance went down. Prestia has had a fantastic year for barely a blip mentioned.

Lead one from the eagles would be either Jetta or Cripps for me both having sensational years and are vital to our structures

Has become a fantastic defender, ruckman and forward. Incredibly hard worker. Always been a solid mark, however his defensive ability, speed and tackling pressure is fantastic for a bloke his size.

Finally, his kicking has improved out of sight.

Amazing improvement hence would be underrared.

Thank fu** we did not get rid of him last year.

Witts is a beast of a ruckman and never given any recognition

Fair play to Witts for having the physical capability and endurance to do it as his size, but I feel people see his raw numbers, and don't realise that they're heavily skewed by participating in a vast number more ruck contests (like 10-15 per game, when averaging everyone out across the same amout of gametime) than any other player in the league.

He's brilliant.

Kane Lambert has hardly been mentioned which I think is a good nomination. Hard working two way runner and pops up with a couple of goals every now and then.

3rd and 2nd in Richmond's B&F recently for a side that has been right at the top suggests his value and worth to the side is huge.

Not sure about this one. Not disagreeing he might be underrated, but if you're labelling him elite I'd say that puts him into overrated territory.

You’d have to consider Zac Merret as under rated

He is genuinely in the top 20 - 30 midfielders in the comp now but Hager’s swatted away amongst the flashiness of Tippa, Stringer, Hurley’s numbers, McKenna and Redman’s dash.

Is averaging 29 possessions, 5 clearances and 5 tackles a game on top of 6 score involvements a game.

Genuinely elite numbers in comparison to other high possession winning midfielders in the comp.
