Will be interested in this as I was going to ask the same question.
I already have 3 of the 4 you have listed & I was leaning towards "McLeod"
My backline - H.Shaw , Gilbee , Adcock , Carrazzo , McPhee , Harris , J.W.Smith (Boyle & Toovey)

How about listing the players already in your backline so you might get some other suggestions. If I had to choose between the 4 listed above I would go for Lockyer or Adcock.

Have the same problem, but in DT. I can afford to get anyone... My current backline is:

Cornes
Mcphee
Bowden
Shaw
Drummond
Adcock

I am also leaning towards lockyer, but then I'd only have 4k left for my last trade.

I Have Cornes, Mcphee, Adcock, Bowden, H.Shaw, Waters & Gilbee with some cash in the bank but also want to trade foley to Bartel so im thinking Gilbee to Milburn. Worthwhile?

is there any options at gilbees price or lower i could look at (all i see is kennelly), i dont wna use 2 trades on him, but i do have 5 left

Can trade him for anyone >299,000 a couple short of milburn. No one of any worth picking up in the backline so no point trading him. I wish he got injured in the last qtr rather then the 1st and didn't drop as much.

i also have gilbee and i dont know what to do aswell.

But anjdreas Everitt will take his spot this week. He scored 80 points last week and is worth only $140,550 i think. But Gilbee will be out for 2-3 weeks

I'm thinking either Fletcher or Milburn.

Leaning towards Fletcher considering he will tear apart the Crows forward line this week (need 1 more win to seal my side in the top 8).

Anyone think otherwise?

wat do pple think of beau waters, i really dont wna use 2 trades on gilbee rather use em on sandi to cox. so gilbe to waters in 1 trade??

Waters hasn't performed all that well lately (Dt wise), but on the weekend he still racked up 22 touches, and the week before had it 17 times. Might be worth taking a punt on him in the hope his scores will pick up for the finals.
Expect quite a few marks this weekend vs the Bulldogs if he plays loose on one of the Dogs' small forwards.

I have only one trade left and just 37500 in the bank so to trade Gilbee, I can spend 289300, what is the choice

Birchall 285500
Newman 282100
Hunter 277500
Waters 258600
Brennan 274100
Johnson.M 25670
Welsh 277300
Smith.J 287900
Grant.C 231900

I am leaning toward Andrew Welsh

First year at DT and made some shocking errors early, I was too keen on finding smokies that no one else had like Rick Ladson and Brent Prismall

i'm gonna go tarkin.. got the cash for it.. so might as well.. leaving me with only 1 trade for finals.. :( grr.. no more injuries please... haha

i'm a chance for top 4 now.. woo.. (i thank LH15 for that.. shoulda gone swan tho.. i know)

Pretty sure i will go with Lockyer, Collingwood have a good run home with games against Brisbane, Carlton, Melbourne and Richmond so he could be on target for a few big scores.

I agree Lockyer would be your best pick & as you said with Collingwood's run home you would be hoping for some big scores.
As for me I have decided to sit & save my trades. Anyway Boyle might return this week & take his place on the ground so I won't have to play a man short.:thumbsu:

Lockyer's #1 if you can afford it.

I've got the same dilemma, but I've got to downgrade someone in order to have the cash for Lockyer, which will leave me with two trades.

Who to downgrade to fund it is another problem: Ellis, J Smith, Hawkins, Richitelli, Martin Clarke, Westhoff ... I know that whoever I choose to downgrade, the other reserve will get dropped right after I've used my last trade and cop a couple of injuries to the starting 22.

Or I could keep Gilbee and use Jesse Smith in his place for a few weeks - but even when fit, Gilbee's been a poor scorer, so I'd really need Lockyer for the finals - it's one of the top 30 league's in the comp, and has $500 on the line.

Decisions, decisions.

I think i might go Lockyer as well, but there are some dilemmas.

Lockyer's last 6 opponents for the year include:

Brisbane (MCG) - Scored 150 last time they met
Carlton (MCG) - 117 last time they met
Richmond (MCG) - 116 last time they met
Melbourne (MCG) - 105 last time they met
Sydney (MCG) - 72 last time they met
Adelaide (TD) - 126 last time they met

This can mean two things.

Lockyer may be the target for opposition taggers over the remaining six games due to his hot form in previous meetings.

Lockyer may record career high stats as opposition teams (Melbourne, Richmond and Carlton) look to a 'tanking' strategy.

Collingwood dont really have a man for an opposition tagger to be placed upon so Tarko may have to wear a human glove for the last six games.

Something to consider.
