Gary Ablett Snr was the reason I started following Geelong when choosing a team different to the folks. Wayne Carey would be up there as well. And while not as long lived, I still remember Koutafides 1995 season. I don't know how he polled Brownlow of anything, but when I think of dominant seasons that really stood out

I think Buddy now belongs in this group. He's a different player in much the way the 3 you mentioned were all different from each other but you have to get a fair way in front before you can count a side with Buddy in it out of the game. Genuine freak.
