It'll be a pretty intense battle for his signature and I really fear for my sanity, watching Collingwood fans melt if he chooses Carlton over us.

Honestly I feel like we’re in a win/win situation here if we get either of Clarke or Pyke. They’re both quality coaches with proven track records and both are capable of bringing us back to finals imo.

I feel this way too. Carlton are notorious for booting coaches is they don’t provide instant success. At least Collingwood, while list wise aren’t as advanced, are almost guaranteed to give the clear air to their next coach that will be required to build to their next flag push.

Interesting turn of events. So last week Caro broke the story that all was not hunky dory between Clarkson, Mitchell, Vandenberg and Justin Reeves.
She was pilloried by Mitchell on SEN with Whateley, hung out to dry by Kennett and Clarkson. This week, she stuck by her sources and she has the last laugh. Kind of makes Collingwood's plan look pretty good; at least ours lasted more than 2 weeks!
How many days before Kennett gets the arse?

Caro has said all year that she believes Clarkson will end up at Carlton. Think she'll be right on this one too.
