Since the Coleman Medal began we have had 3 Coleman Medalists. Cummings (88g), Kennedy (75g) & Kennedy (80g). Who will be our next? The average age of the winner is 26 (25 if you go back to the start of the VFL) so history says JK is out. Darling shits the bed in big games and could potentially be a midfielder next season so he's out. Vardy is 28 next year and made of glass so he's out. Waterman is too much of a link up man to kick over 80 goals. So we are left with 2 options:

1) Brander. Highley rated, has the potential to be JKs replacement. Could definitely win a Coleman however not for at least 3-5 years. Which means option 2 is the most likely.

2) Mcinnis. Right age bracket. Has been so poor that he can only improve. New 6-6-6 means he can play to his marking strength, as we all know he has a turning circle slower than avishka5 's mum. FMac will be our next Coleman Medalist.
Discuss.

Bet your mum has the turning circle of Ash Hansen.

But will he be our next Coleman. I could see Brander doing it in 2022, but the question remains will someone beat him to it. Mcinnis in 2019[/QUOTE]

The only goal kicking medal McInnis will feature in ,in 2019, is the Bernie Naylor Medal.

McGovern will be unleashed kicking 1 Goal & 82 Points next season as Barrass takes over as the interceptor in the backline.
Fixed for you.

I heard your mum's so fat that Simmo had to send her to train away from the main group.
I heard your mum's so fat she had to leave a training camp early cos she couldn't hack it

While still kicking 81 goals himself
I don't mind Barrass up Fwd, but highly doubt he could kick that many.

Tommy Cole to boot 69 goals as SImmo moves him onto the wing/HFF role.
Perhaps, not enough for a Coleman but

I don't foresee it happening again for a while, with the club currently having so many focal points up forward, causing a more even spread of goalkickers rather than always going to a singular target.

If Kennedy were to play 20 games next year he will likely get 65+ and probably go close.
The only other member of the current best 22 that is capable of winning it would be Darling - but it would require a full season of the kind of dominance he showed in the first half of this year prior to his injury.

Outside the current best 22, the player that strikes me the most as having all the potential pieces to become a Coleman medallist is B.Williams.

Interesting selection in William's. I think he will share too much time in the truck to become a Coleman medalist.
