Nick Rewolts two dives in the first two rounds when opposition players have gone into his back and fairy tapped him have been worthy but never picked up. They were both just as bad as Didaks last night.
haha you must joking.. didaks effort was way worse than riewoldts.

I agree. Didak didn't really even wait for contact before he took the dive. It looked really, really bad. The umpire who called it will be ashamed of himself at the moment.

Remove the goal Didak stole from this diving effort, Collingwood kick 3 for the game. From memory their first was kicked as a result of a free kick also? :p

No.. No I'm not. The one in the Essendon game that led to a Saints goal was just as bad. Riewoldt clearly fell foward of his own accord, the impact from the Essendon player was not hard enough to push a player over.
He took a dive.

please put your other eye back in, didak's effort was way worse.

The only thing lackin from didak was a was a grab to the head faking injury then i would of givin it 10/10 for difficulty.:thumbsu:

Did anyone else hear Adrian Anderson on Triple M before the game last night? Correct me if Im wrong but from memory he basically said a player will get done only if he dives without being touched.

Agree, Divedak was on his way down even before Dawson touched him, was a shamefull soccer effort that gave the Pies a massive 25% of the goals they scored last night.

Even before Divedak hit the ground Dawson and Hayes were saying 'he dived....he dived' but as normal the umpires pay the softest of frees whilst missing numerous obvious ones.

If what Anderson said is true then the AFL and Andersons department have failed again. So as long as a player has some sort of minor contact put on them they can still dive for a free and will not get sanctioned

Seriously Adrian why even bother trying to clean up our game of this gutless tactic if you are going to leave a loop hole big enough for the LEXUS Centre to fit through?

Get serious or get out mate.

why do thy let this man talk...... he has no idea, he is whats ruining the game........get him off the airwaves.....him and his lawyer ideas..

He did nothing Roo didn't do against North. The Hansen one was just as comical, Now everybody can see Roo is a diver. We already knew Didak was one.
Direct your anger at the pea-brains at AFL HQ who have created an environment that promotes the prectice of simulation (especally at stoppage situations) because the rewards for doing so are immense. What Didak did was cynical and exploitative, but it also rewarded his team with a quarter of their entire goal tally for the night. Riewoldt's efforts in recent matches have been no less cynical and exploitative. But don't blame these players for expoiting this to advantage their own teams - they would be derelict in their duty not to do so. Blame Sawers, Gieschen, Anderson and the rest of the umpiring fraternity for not implementing an ounce of common sense in relation to this issue.

hopefully they go nuts on didak to set an example.. but then again he is a collingwood player, so they will probably let him off with a $50 fine or something
