why would you buy Bartel? Even if he has a great game and get 100 points, he will drop in value. Makes no sense to buy him early....

But in all seriousness, Kane Cornes won't make top 20. Chad Cornes will be very high, but Pav won't be that high either.

The other 180K or so will buy him just because he was the best player last year.

Majority of DT'ers aren't die hards, there is a reason they don't make the top 10K.

I have Pavlich, he's my vice as well.
When he isn't in the top 3 or 4 most picked players this year, we will see who's laughing.

Think I can call myself experienced mate and I've just changed Kornes to Bartel.
Okay, he probably will drop in value. But I can't seem him getting much less than 100 any week, and he WILL pull out 100+s sooner rather than later.
Last year I wanted him all year, and managed to get him at exactly the right time, helping me to win my league.
This year I don't want to 1/ waste a trade on him, 2/ see him kill it each week without me having him and 3/ not get him at the start because I MIGHT get him 50K cheaper later down the track.
I dont see him pulling a 114 point average to maintain his price.
Plus being the reigning Brownlow medallist, he will start copping a lot more attention from taggers in preference to GAblett this year IMO.
But hey, play it your way....
