Who will coach Devonport?

Ressa has bagged out everyone that has left the club in one way or another. Truth be known, they were the ones that got the team to the grandfinal, they just weren't good enough to win it which happens. But he is the super coach apparently so time will tell. He ruffled some feathers not appointing Mark Lowe as captain.

I thought Lowe was co captain with Hazelwood. Fitter stronger more footy smart than in previous years quoted Ressa over the last month. He is dreaming.

I seen Wiggo in Wynyard and i thought that he had lost weight. I might be wrong. Will be able to tell next week i suppose. See ya next week Wiggo. Please dont be late.

He will only be late if he falls asleep at his desk again. Lost weight, he must be stressed after Devonport's start last week.

What is going on at Devonport with that story in the paper yesterday. The rift between the two is a true story but they have agreed to move on. They were at the footy at the park yesterday together and i think Wiggo had his twin brother up from Hobart with him. I think it was his twin brother he was a big strap of a lad.

Well old Pengy are meant to be picking up a few from the mainland again. But lets be honest they would want to be better than the last lot. Pat Kelly was the only one that could actually play the game.
Clinton Carpenter got a scholarship he must be the Van Wilder of the PFC. Surely there would be a young bloke more deserving of it. Oldest bloke ever to recieve one. Fancy way to cover up salary cap issues as far as i can see. Because we all no mums the word when it comes to player payments at Penguin

Did here Chris Mcdonald would have like to head Burnie way but cause Lawsy come out in the paper and said he was playing at Penguin he felt obligated to stay there.

Penguin were a disgrace on Saturday night from all reports. On and off the ground.

Your not wrong North Wester, wasn't much of a spectacle unless you want to bring back the biff. For a side full of pip squeaks wasn't very good coaching telling the boys to go the knuckle. As for Law's coaching ability, Gary Carpenter would be better or Sam Ling when he has had a few. What happen to all these recruits Law was sprouting off about.

i think the news underbelly wasnt screening in victoria got them across the line to move to penguin. unfortunatley mums the word and they were able to get pirate versions so they elected to stay home. Good to hear penguin going the knuckle though. thats about as smart as telling brent staker to rough up barry hall. pretty dumb!

Its a pity David Law wasn't captain coach. Bet ya he wouldn send players out to go the biff. Seen Wiggo today. He looks a shell of the man he looked before Xmas.

Must be something happening at Devonport. A young player by the name of Perry trained at the park last night and has signed up to play.

Ned's boy. Wonder why?

My mail is he doesn't want to play under Ressig as he thinks he is a f*ckwit as do many of the senior players at Devonport. The feathers are ruffled in the Magpie nest, more will come about in the next twelve months.

He's a poor player anyway, wouldn't play seniors at east devonport

Riessig is very professional in a lot of ways, has a pretty good understanding of the game and is tactically ok. Just a pity he is such a poor sort of a bloke with an ego the size of Antartica and gets people off side.........

Tell me what parts you think are true Big H and i will see if i agree or not.

Well, after a few rounds now the predictions made are pretty close to the mark. Devonport may have fallen away further than first thought and Latrobe may be better than originally predicted but Launceston and Ulverstone will be the two leaders, Burnie are close but not quite, the mid tire teams are just that mid tier and will not challenge and Wynyard, East and Penguin are going to struggle.

Jesse Wells, is back in town boys! A good source told me, that Jesse is keen to get back to the AFL and he was a better prospect than Tom Williams, who played well against the Hawks on the weekend.

Jesse is back boys, watch out for a big finish to the year and according to Jesse, the only way we will see him next year, will be on the TV.:thumbsu:

and I bet the good source telling you that he was a better prospect than Tom Williams was Jesse Wells himself..

Is this the same guy who was only just getting a game at Werribee cos he was AFL listed??? Lets be honest was fairly fortunate to get drafted....wont happen again i dont imagine. Good on him for being hopefull though, played well in the under 23 rep game but lets not get too excited.

Hi Was Hoping that you naybe able to pass on a message to Jesse Wells for me. talk is cheap and actions speak far louder than words. I thought he may have grown up a bit after he had been delisted. Shackleton has a far greater chance of being recruited good footballer with great football smarts.

Lassa i hope you have recevied some feed back on big Jesse Wells. If not i can give you some. His efforts in the 2 rep games were sensational. Maybe he was to young to be drafted at the time he was. He is playing good tough football now. Hope that doesn't disappoint you?
