Who will you be (secretly) supporting in this years finals

With freo giving north a hiding the question of the final 8 is now answered.....

So who will you be cheering on in this years finals series....?

For me it is a tie between north and freo....I always cheer for the underdogs

Also hoping to see geelong and collingwood get bundled out early in the piece

In order; Crows, Hawks, Freo, Eagles, Swans, Geelong, North then Magpies.

Mitch missing out on a premiership at Freo would be bitter sweet. Hawks are the best team and are good to watch. Crows winning would be great for Adelaide. I like the way Eagles and Swans have turned things around as well.

I think that in the finals series my support preference will be as follows:

1. Hawthorn
2. Adelaide
3. Sydney
4. West Coast
5. North Melbourne
6. Fremantle
7. Geelong
8. Cancellation

I'm still deciding whether I'd prefer to have the Grand Final cancelled or see Geelong win another flag.

Hawthorn - Decent chance, love watching them play.
West Coast - Fans are shit but I like the team and how they go about it. Wouldn't mind seeing them win.
Adelaide - Don't think they're really a top 4 team every day of the week, given they're flattered with two games against each of GC and GWS. Nothing against them though.
Fremantle - Underdog. I'm not as averse to Lyon's play as others. I love a good defensive outfit.
North Melbourne - I find the Roos always leave a bad taste in my mouth. No idea why. I'd cheer them over the following, but find it hard to care for them.
Sydney - Ugh. Don't want these guys to win while I'm still down here. It's hard enough already putting up with their "we're always in finals" routine.
Geelong - Love the team but they're getting too close to our records. Sorry guys, your time is up.
Collingwood - Duh.

I always have a soft spot for Sydney, no idea why. When we play them I despise them more than most teams. But I always find myself going for them, similar to Gold Coast. Bit love-hate.

The whole final series matters little as there are no Lions.
I am fully focused on the big day and predicting a Swans/Hawks GF.
This is where I am a bit torn as I don't mind the Hawks but will always go for a non-Victorian team in the end.
(Cause it's not the ****ing VFL anymore) I hate the term "interstate team".
Sorry to the Vics on this board, but I find a general footy arrogance amongst the Victorian footy media.
So I think Cats, Pies, Kangas and Dockers will be just making up numbers.
Geelong is close enough in terms of success to The Lions so that's enough from them.
That leaves whoever plays the Hawks. (My preference in no particular order will be Swans or Crows though I don't think Crows have the Goodes) ( see what I did there?).
