I want them to not lie and disinform about it, like the Oz does and the vast majority of Murdoch media.

Writing an article about dry areas, wind, arson and potential faulty equipment playing a large part in these fires is not disinformation or lying.
They should be stating why it’s dry, has it got drier, and the risks around this.
It’s lacking context.

No it's not, but it becomes propaganda when they do their utmost to diminish and deny the impact of climate change.

I never said climate change is the sole reason for bushfires. Do you think I am dumb?
There is always a proximate cause such as arson, lightning, faulty equipment, Ivan the careless smoker etc. So some folks argue climate change never causes bushfires, this is line the climate change deniers like the Australian does constantly. However the proximate cause occurs within a context and unfortunately for us that context is a warming world, with many places becoming much drier and in some cases subject to stronger winds and storms. There is good scientific evidence bushfires and wild fires are becoming much more common and extensive over the last couple of decades. There is good evidence climate change is the key.

During our last terrible bushfires the Australian kept running a propaganda campaign which involved two main lines of attack. The first was to concentrate on the proximate cause and ignore or deny the effects of a warming climate completely. The second was to run a series of climate change denial articles. They really ramped it up at that time. Over a period of a few months I counted 44 climate change denial articles compared to 13 which would be considered more balanced. It was propaganda, not news they were running.

When they discovered the poetry ‘of droughts and flooding rains’ and repeated ad nauseum
