What also shits me about this is watching Alistair Lynch no give a flying f...stuff about out predicament and our inability to acquire a decent coach or his good mate Paul Roos or the treatment of what I thought was another of his good mates Michael Voss...be critical for Christ's sake Al.

Geez you pot some strange people in the crossfire sometimes Dylan. Lynch is a professional.

Focus the rage on the people responsible.

Why should that preclude him from voicing any sort of opinion on what is going on at his former club?

Every other credible and professional journo has rightly got stuck into the club, why won't he? All I see is him bloody joking all the time about his mate Roos and if there is one guy who probably would know something its him and he should speak up.

Hasn't stopped Matty Lloyd having a crack at his former club and any number of former players giving their old clubs a crack.

......and roosy wants to coach a team that can't beat a team of auskickers. all the best to him.
after today's effort, it should be clear that this is a team worth coaching. stuff the egos on the board, these lads are playing for the jumper, not a bunch of w*nkers sitting around a table. we just missed the finals by 1pt without a senior coach. very proud of the team today.

.
Given his primary income is from a player/coach management company he part owns, the phrase "don't shit in the nest" comes to mind.

I am absolutely terrified that our next coach is going to be unable to tap into the fighting spirit that Voss has bred into this team... by far our biggest asset.

If we get Mumbles Craig coming in and turning these boys into a bunch of passionless robots, god help us.

Our next coach has to be able to keep stoking the fire.

Sorry for butting in, but after today's performance it should highlight that maybe Brisbane should've given Voss another year. Some very promising stuff out there today, and a couple of times earlier in the season as well.
Should have paid more attention to who they were going to replace him with before giving him the boot, at the very least.

Preaching to the choir.

Voss or Harvey is the only person I really want right now. I'm sure the posts to come from me are going to be reactionary and perhaps when the emotion drains out I'll be open to other options but right now I'd just like the same set up we had. Kick that idiot off the board, throw the other two clowns out, stick Leigh on then suck it up and re-instate Voss with Harvey as assistant.

Harvey ticks all the boxes, he knows our list the best out of all candidates, he is elite when it comes to player/youth development, and he has head coach experience. Pity he won't sign on though and is looking towards W.A for work.

Where did you get this from?

Doesn't stop Liam Pickering from commenting on real issues affecting both of his former clubs, not sure why Lynch should be any different and even if he said what he felt, would anyone really be surprised considering most fans and expert journos are stating the bleeding obvious anyway?

Hasn't he said he doesn't want the head coach role because he wants to head back to WA?

Definitely read that he's not interested in returning to senior coaching but I haven't read that he wants to return to W.A. Just curious for the source.

Any chance that performance inspired Mark Harvey into taking us on full time?

Gee, I hope so.

Not wishing to disrespect Vossy in any way but there looked to be something different in our attitude in the last few matches. Seemed to have acquired not only a touch of mongrel but played at a more even intensity throughout the game(s)

The "gone totally missing" for a quarter disease seems to have been cured:thumbsu:

I think Harvs is a good coach and well worth serious consideration if we could talk him around.

I'm not sure where, but I've heard and/or seen exactly the same thing that SizeMatters refers re: Harvey going back to WA.
