Current board member and former club champion Mark Ricciuto is a majority owner in the Alma Tavern with players Taylor Walker and Rory Sloane.
Former board member and President of the AHA (Australian Hotel Association) Peter Hurley owns a number of establishments in Adelaide. 10 hotels in fact known as the Hurley Group.
So, that suggests to me the club can make money on this investment or why would these people continue to invest in this type of business. I'm also lead to believe the club is not under the control of the SANFL - so any permission fropm them is not needed any more.
