I admit, it feels good talking about St.Kilda's 10 second highlight reel that is their 'proud' history, but you have to keep in mind that they have won the past 11 or so against us.

How will anything in the future be tainted...we liek every other team is reviewed by the AFL for salary cap, they had to approve the Judd deal, so liek Geelong we are well within the law....but how are Geelogn keeping all their stars?? any outside deals??

The cap was also introduced in 1987 (to actually even out the competition so that Carlton, Essendon and Coolignwood couldn't dominate over useless and unsuccessful clubs liek yours)...so how many have we won in that time?? cause anything prior would be legit as we could buy and pay players what we wanted, and why, cause we could!!

Dear Felching, please be advised the only pain we have felt in recent times has been the pain of aberrant failure. Like a supreme athlete hobbled by injury, the CFC has had penalties imposed (yes, self-inflicted to be sure) that would put the hand-brake on any club. If you truly believe losing to you for a few years even comes close to the genuine pain we have been through since 2001 then you are a sadder more deluded little nuff than first thought. You are a blip, a ****ing T-shirt and when regular programming is resumed believe it or not the pressure to succeed will be gone for you and once again you can drop below the waves of under-achievement and misery your pathetic club is built on.

Trust me, losing 11 in a row to any side is just part of football - you get winning/losing streaks against all clubs at times (eg Swans/Collingwood). So not too much upset here to be honest.

However, some Saints supporters seem to derive a disproportionate amount of pleasure from this run of wins for some reason - almost treating it in premiership-like fashion. You must regard Carlton highly if that is the case.

Anyway, if that, and incorrectly attributing words to Elliott instead of Collins, is your way of trying to upset Carlton fans, you have fallen way short of the mark.

Incidentally, I still to this day do not understand the obsession some Saints fans have with the Blues. In my case I am too busy following my own club to worry about what other clubs are doing.
