Today is easily the barometer of our season. A game where we were able to fight back and win...yet at the end we showed no hunger, no fury....you've got idiots who don't man up and let the Port Players run straight to the goalsquare.

My player analysis

Nahas: this kid deserves a better club. Only a first-year player and he's shown terrific stuff - just have a look at how he fought for that last goal of his. Should get out of the club before we turn him into a short-kicking, handballing spud.

Morton: as with Nahas. We're teaching these kids no fury. Jack Dyer must be turning in his grave.

Bowden: seriously, this bloke has pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. Did nothing in that last quarter but sit back and watch the goals roll in.

Brown: You all heard it - Brown kicked a great goal, yet the runner told him to get "straight back to defence". Why? wasnt he brought to the club as a Forward? shouldn't he be standing in for Richo, becoming our premier goalkicker?

criticise me all you want, but today was just another day in Tigerland. Wallace needs the sack, simple as that. He's corrupted the team: no manning up, kicking sideways, stalling after a mark. I can guarantee you that we will win the wooden spoon this year if Wallace is still sitting in that office next week.

that's what upsets me the most; the fact that all the players who have the opportunity to be the next superstar becomes a spud at this club.

Can you really blame Tambling for what he's become?

What would u say if that final mark was called as it was as TOUCHED and we scrounged a goal to steal the game?? You are over reacting. We'll be fine.

...as soon as we start to shepherd again , a part of the game that if they took stats on we would be last .If a team doesnt shepherd your opponent can run straight at the ball carrier forcing him to pass . It took until the second quarter today for a shepherd ( Jackson ) as if the pace of the game isnt fast enough but when your team mate handballs to you and offers no protection you have bugger all time to get rid of it. Its part of the game we are terrible , watch top four teams " share and care " ..pass then protect a team mate , our blokes tend to handball and back off looking for the soft pass back to them . One shepherd and you give your teammate the opportunity to run up the corridor , if you dont players will continue to run wide away from the opponent towards the wing dragging the play out there ,as we have done all year . I used to scream myself hoarse at the footy screaming " Ball .."..." Fence him .." now i wear myself out screaming " Shepherd .."!! I would hate to think how many we average a game i would guess 2-3 ...

fair dinkum if we had a key forward aside from richo that was capable of 60+ we'd be a helluva lot better side, the last couple fo weeks have shown that our midfield can find the footy and will continue to improve with games into Cotch, Cuzz and Cogs...simply not being rewarded in forward 50
