Yep looked smooth, but not the explosive guy we like in the arcs.Get your endurance up and become an outside mid. That was what I saw from him today.

It’s my one positive.
Not for me but I’m in the minority there. Skills let him down and positioning wasn’t there.I read TJ also stood out?
More of a HB player than wing. Probably could challenge Noble eventually. So, assuming for a moment Parker continues on this trajectory, who’s spot in the team does he get in the future?
Sidebottom?

I think wing if his running is good enough. Just because i think we want blokes with jets in the small defender roles.More of a HB player than wing. Probably could challenge Noble eventually.

I’m impressed that youre impressed, the guy hasn’t played for three years, would have been cricket fit not football fit, those numbers are impressive in just 3 q’s22 disposals and a goal. 3 tackles. 5 marks.
Imagine if he actually played the whole game.
I re-watched the replay last night, and what I was really impressed with was his attack on the ball. Not just on ground level but in the air.
tbf, ive been impressed since he came to the club. Has really nice skills.I’m impressed that youre impressed, the guy hasn’t played for three years, would have been cricket fit not football fit, those numbers are impressive in just 3 q’s

Here is a longer version I cut up last night while watching the replay
I like his attack on the ball, especially in the air for someone his size. Definitely very encouraging after being his first game in almost 5 years. Thanks Jen. A lot to like there. Seems to always be moving forward through traffic or through the contest, which means his “game speed” is going to be respectable even if his top pace isn’t amazing. Also closes down defensive angles and gives him an advantage getting to aerial contests.
If Ed Allan could be moving forward rather than on his heels like this, he’d probably have debuted already.
Everyone should be excited. Those are the kinds of numbers that get new draftees early debuts, and those players tend to have long careers. This is the kind of stuff we’ve been wanting to see from the likes of Allan, and Fin was only just getting there in his 3rd year.22 disposals and a goal. 3 tackles. 5 marks.

just below what we all expected of him of course.Wait…this kid hasn’t played a game of football in almost 5 years and posted those numbers in around 75% game time?
So he’s just a pure natural megastar?
You can't beat natural footballersjust below what we all expected of him of course.
But in all seriousness, feels like this kid has something and we may have gotten away with robbery.
What if one natural footballer goes up against another natural footballer? You can't beat natural footballers
