Hoskin-Elliot has some mecurial aspects to his game.
Lovely kick too.
He can be hard to match up on, when on song.

Just imagine, he gets going and he bamboozles the opposition already contending with Elliot and Fasolo.

So good, can't wait if it happens

Great post. I think he will benefit from having Fasolo, Elliott, Sidebottom, Mayne etc in the forward line. He will get under lots of sides guard when we are at full strength.

You have to have these guys in your side. They can be quiet all day and then win you a game. Its the X factor, every side needs it. What he needs to do is make sure that when he is not on that he does the team things, plays to the plan, tackles etc. He has really struggled to bulk up and that holds him back.

I'm obviously excited about what WHE can bring, but I hope we settle him down in one position.

I have no doubt that he can play just about any role, but he has struggled for consistency his whole career. So I think we need to give him some consistency. I think his best spot is the wing and pushing forward. I think he can rotate with guys like Sidebottom, Greenwood and Varcoe on a wing. He has great pace and obviously nice hands, so I like him in attacking positions as opposed to across half back.

But I think we need to settle him down into a role that he understands and develops into.

He isn't a lock in our 22 just yet and if he has a quiet JLT3 game then he'll have pressure from guys like Phillips and Josh Smith. For now, I have him in our round 1 side just because he adds something unique.

You do know he's a previous number 4 pick? FIVE years in the system.

He will have to be 8 times better than Sier just to break even.
Not that he has any double standards in his player ratings...

WHE has also missed a lot of footy through injury so I think the consistency will come with playing more games regularly.

It'll be interesting to see whether the club rate him as best 22 come round 1 if we have a relatively healthy list.

Interesting maybe but not informative.

The round one best 22 is rarely the same as the round 22 best 22. Just look at 2010 as an example.

It would be shortsighted to judge him or any new player at the club on whether he gets a gig in game 1

He was at a Funeral on the Friday before the Fremantle game.
I'm surprised he even played.
His aunt died and he was one of the coffin bearers.
Don't think he was in a good frame of mind v Freo.
A friend of mine was at the funeral.

Only been Averaging about 15 Touches during the Pre-Season but uses it very well and Has Massive x-factor about him.

Stay Fit and he can make a Big Difference

Obviously White is not WHE but Bucks must be commended for showing faith in White when the rest of the universe got lost in the darkness. WHE has similar traits to White in that he has above average talent but has shown little consistency todate. WHE has the potential to be another Treloar but the code needs deciphering. Does Bucks have the key?

There is a huge difference between White and WHE. Surely you can see that.

How long has it been since WHE had s proper pre season? He really has Rioli like X factor, the big difference is WHE can run all day and Rioli has serious speed.

The other thing is that Rioli is defensively elite.

I like him on the half forward flank. Although he seems to be better running towards goals than leading up. He doesn't win enough ball for the wing for mine. A high half forward flank.
