Or maybe they just don’t need the depth that Madgen provides any more , with the improvement of Murphy , return from injury of Dean and to a lesser extent Kreuger, and the arrival of Frampton and to a lesser extent, McStay.

Kelly being younger has upside that Madgen doesn’t have. He’ll be gone next if he can’t deliver that upside.

I highly doubt it and hoping I'm the one that is wrong.
He will find it tough to get in with Dean and Frampton competing for a similar spot.
I'd like to see Kelly up forward in the VFL. He really needs to step up.
Another injury or two won't help his cause. Just bad luck I guess.

The club knows best, they don’t just throw around contracts these days. If he can have an injury free run for the first time in his career there is no reason why he couldn’t make it. His career so far has been almost entirely curtailed by injury and COVID. He’s a tall, he’ll come good show some patience.
