Assuming point 2 is how ASADA is justifying pot on its testing regime, what happens if in the meantime Victoria decriminalises it?

Ventolin doesn't show as amphetamine, it is a Beta-2 agonist with a tremendously high testing threshold (you're talking ~30 puffs from a standard salbutamol inhaler only hours before the match). Any urinary analysis reports on canabinoid metabolites when testing for the evidence of THC, in both blood and urine and in 10 years of experience and dozens of research papers I have yet to come across anything related to what you are suggesting.

that may be the case, i never said willie did or didnt use a PED. i was merely saying that just cause a drug sounds like something, or is made from something, doesnt mean that it is the same. for example, there are forms of medicinal cannabis which do not produce a high in the same way as smoking a joint does. people cant jump to conclusions.

the only thing we really know is that wada have classified whatever he tested positive to as a substance prohibited during a competition, separate to a substance prohibited on game day only. that suggests that smarter scientists than us across the world believe it has a performance enhancing quality.

Because The West are fanboys of the Eagles, and they wrote what the wanted the outcome to be. The whole media reporting of these events has been diabolical, and the reporters who masquerade as experts are either very stupid, or did very little research on how the process works. Trying to garner public support for their own bias agenda, carries very little weight against a system that is very black and white, and has mandated sanctions for certain offences.

I think as far as the West goes that has happened already. Some of us chose not to read or believe much what we hear from certain reporters. But there are still enough others just lap it up that they keep selling papers, or getting ratings to make it viable. Eventually they start slanting to match the remaining audience.
