As much fun as it is to try and scare a captain and point and laugh at them for a minor team sheet error, it is also a complete and utter waste of time. Instead of pages of dribble about int vs INT surely some actual effort could be put into maybe starting a good media thread? Was funny last year with the tribunal, funny the 1st round cos ClarkeM got suspended... now it is time to move on

PRE SEASON ADDITION
LIKES
1. HaroLad
A frequently average poster the past few seasons, Haro has stepped up big time this off season. He has lead the charge recruiting for Baghdad and also managed to produce a very sleek rebranding presentation setting a new bar for work quality

2. A Royal Resurgence?
Long mocked for being inactive, the Royals have exploded the past few weeks, a big recruitment in BigJoeD_ adds clout, a rejuvenated Footypie32 can only help. Rd 1 and the Royals at time of print are involved in the largest match thread so far (maybe, they were... i didn't actually check)

3. Fresh Blood aplenty
At last count we had over 30 rookies ready to go for this season, big numbers increases the chances of more taking to the league. It is only a good thing and some gems already are making their presence felt.

4. Pokémon Go
It's awesome and addictive and I don't even know what the **** a Pokémon is

5. The Charity Cup
Sterge 's charity cup was a fantastic success, great fun was had by players from the Swamprats, Furies and Roys. The added bonus of the Roys taking it out was a pleasant surprise but more importantly $400 was donated to Jimmy Bartels Face up to DV campaign

Has done some good stuff but shit media threads and shit posts where you just mimic someone else is absolute crap.. be better

2. Name Changes
Posters round these parts seem obsessed with changing usernames, granted some happened last season but still... we have 2 posters here calling themselves doctors, and I wouldn't trust either to cut up a piece of steak. We also have had one prominent poster change his name to a shit new username, then proceed to change it again to an even shittier username. Enough is enough.

3. The Provincial championship
Now I have huge love for Mobbenfuhrer and footy_fumbler so I admire their baby... but despite what The Filth Wizard is spinning, this as a concept bombed, minimal interest, shit posting and by match 3 no one gave a ****. TFW is determined to make sure he leaves it as part of his legacy so it will be back next season.. will it last longer

4. Podcast issues
The Sweet FA podcast has been claimed by the ever enthusiastic traditional bridesmaid Millky95 , and whilst he is trying hard we have had the need for a beeper to censor someone that nearly sent people deaf. Then recently we had one that sounded like it was recorded in a cave by the side of a highway, and also sounding like Wacky Tiger had a stroke mid show.
More issues and an ex host may need to step back into steer the ship

Another big week of Qooty, another jam packed edition of #TheTockle, enjoy.. or don't, I don't really care

LIKES
1. The Demons
One of the teams that many were concerned about completely vanishing at some point this season, and despite the recruitment of an inactive captain in RU_ the true spiritual leader of the Demons in Van_Dyke has gotten thriving, an abundance of enthusiastic if sometimes misplaced rookies, a return to form for Van_Power and a complete lack of okeydoke7 a match thread against the Dees is now filled with so much less pity for VD as he isn't fighting a lone hand anymore.

2. The Bears
Leadership turmoil, player delisting controversy and a lot of general blandness last season with the loss of Doctor Colossus hurting massively, the Bears were another team that people were worried about. New leadership with gun Matera92 a co-captain, and the bears sit 3 - 0 on the top of the world. I haven't the foggiest what their match threads have been like for all I know they are still shit... but the results look good and at this time of the year it is all we have to go on

3. The Captains
Not one of you made a team sheet stuff up (that i am aware of)
Well done, some of you may yet graduate kindergarten

4. Marlowe
The most tremendous troll/finish to a thread ever, a genuine LOL moment for anyone who had been following the Royal Rumble and who had genuinely for months forgotten it was a thing. Genius from the same poster that hijacked the mobbs once and hosted the Royals B&F in the same thread.

5. Richmond

Fought off a massive loss of exceptionally talented, attractive and in most cases well hung posters to finish minor premiers last year. More personal losses followed and a rookie captain recruited and they have not had the start they would like, sitting bottom of the ladder and questions soon may be asked if in fact Quivorir was the right man for the job or if Wolves heirachy will need to reach out and sign Quivorirs Boss as coach to try get the best out of their embattled leader

2. Media Mondays
A stuttering stumbling start for The Filth Wizard s patented baby... when this thread is the top of the pile you know the bar is being set low
Lift people lift!

3. The Brothers of Destruction
The recruitment/takeover of Doctor Colossus and The Filth Wizard was meant to save the Hawks, and whilst on the field they are not awful off the field it is clear the brothers have been 'East Sided'. DC in particular is no where near the level of his Bears days, while TFW is more concerned with polishing his own wand in the Admins office than his team. Long term Hawks rightly would be expecting more

4. PodCast issues
I don't like to double up on ones I have mentioned before, but it also helps me fill space so I can deal with it.
2 Podcasts in a row have been marred by tech issues, surely it isn't that hard to get it right... unless of course DemonJim is actually a member of Daft Punk in which case forget I said anything and good show all

5. The Pokemon Battle Game
Great in theory, poor in execution... the fact it has just faded away to nothing without question when down to the last few showed how much it struggled. As someone not eliminated at time of printing I am however claiming partial victory
