He definitely suggested that the votes were in favour of the wings, and that it was almost just a matter of leaving it open for a bit longer to ensure it seemed transparent.

The way he was talking about allowing voices to be heard seemed much more like he was advocating change than anything else.

Generally said that he was keen for wings as it embraces our history of which he was part of.

Recognises that the club has been accused, perhaps fairly, of not listening to the fans, and sees the club location at subi oval as part of the problem - move to Lathlain part of overall move toward being more community/fan involved.

Sounded like he has been on board with the returnthewings movement for 18 months but they sat on it a bit too long last year to be able to make any changes in time. New poll set up to ensure members are given opportunity to have a say, as the first poll might have been a bit biased in terms of sample group.

Also seems keen on yellow peril for a clash, but he doesn't want to do too many things at once and wants it to be more clearly an initial decision between Wings vs Tripanel rather than a bunch of different changes.

Wing size and shape may be constrained by jumper manufacturers, as breathing panels in the sides of the jumpers (they're so skin tight that Quinten Lynch has to actually get someone to cut his off with scissors after every match) have to be the same colour as the main body of the jumper. So the wings might have to go around the panel, or something like that.

Also said he rates Simpson and that he has had a noticeable impact on Shuey, Gaff and Gov, and that he has a much more one on one face to face communication style than Woosha.

He thought Mackenzie absolutely was robbed, right in front of him. And also wishes Dalziell wasn't delisted last year but I think Ochre edited that out
