Fairly spectacular setting this week at Utah. Not so sure about the course. What I am sure about is the continuing idiocy of the PGAT. This week they thought it would be a good idea to issue a sponsor's invite to local champ Jay Don Blake, aged 65. Guessing the criteria was someone from Utah, who used to be a PGA player.

Has hit drives so far at around 280 yards which sounds pretty decent for a 65 year old. Until you realise that the course is over a mile above sea level.

Aw heck. And then they interview JDB and he gets all emotional because he grew up in the area. Now I feel bad. Using a bullseye putter earns him some street cred.
