Feel for those in the shootout

2nd round is in the money, but only the winners of that table get a payjump. 120th to 14th all get 4k~, next payjump 14k

Seems a little off, not sure why they couldnt even out 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each table tbh

Hellmuthaments in the Razz

"Your seven is good," Hellmuth said.

"I don't know, I have to look," Cantu replied, meaning he needed to hit the last card to make a seven. During this time Hellmuth tabled his eight-six low.

Cantu flipped over his last card to reveal a deuce, which gave him the best hand. Hellmuth then launched into an epic tirade.

"He's trying to bluff off his chips. I let you steal, and steal, and steal," the Poker Brat said. "I mean are you even trying to win, Brandon? What are you doing?"

Hellmuth seemed to take the beat personally and continued to voice his frustration into the next hand despite a warning from the dealer. Hellmuth then got up out of his chair, wandered the tournament area, and eventually made his way over to Huck Seed to see if he had a sympathetic ear.

"They've got me talking to myself, Huck," Hellmuth said. Seed did not respond.

Ive played with Cantu before, hes looks like what you would expect somebody to look like when they spend every day grinding live

Hes just miserable

I wonder whos side the debt is on

I'm a PH fan

I can rattle off some very classy and succesful people

Ted Forrest
Eric Siedel
Allen Cunningham
John Jaunda
Daniel Alaei
Tom Schneider
Barry Greenstein
Bakes Baker

All those guys are multiple bracelet winners with a lot of success, but arent pickable in a line up (heck I might not not even notice Alaei if he walked past me in the street). They're classy, respectable people (as far as gamblers go) and above all else humble.

It just doesnt get them anywhere. Hellmuth is one of the few faces people recognise when they think of poker, along with DN who while humble etc, makes himself much more available than anybody else and is on every pokerstars add there is. Hellmuth has achieved all that by hiding in his San Fran home for most of the year, not travelling the circuit or playing in super high roller EPTs.

Hes famous for 2 months of the year and adds character to what otherwise is a very boring thing to watch for most people.

I just like it, its interesting to watch. The way he moves, acts and talks. He adds suspense to the game. When watching him you want a bad river card to come because you know you'll get a glorious display of childish ranting from an adult. Just wan to watch imo
