As was stated on SEN news today John Worsfold has the belief that the Eagles are a huge chance of recruiting Nathan Thompson this week and will be offering Chad Morrison as part of the deal.

Hopefully he throws Ashley Hansen in there somewhere

Thompson's value would have dropped a lot with his mental problems becomming public, it's a risk for a club to take him on as to whether he will get back to his best form, and whether we will be wanting to play footy.

i think thompson will stay, maybe still get the captaincy. same boat as lance whitnall. good player but unfortunatley too many variables and there best footy is probably behind them.
