Broad inks two-year extension

Nathan Broad has committed to Richmond, tying him to the Club until at least the end of 2025.

Well he's playing good enough footy to easily be best 22, and looks fit and healthy enough to play on, so happy enough with this one.

Only other benefit would have been the compo pick, but if that wasn't going to be much, may as well have kept him on.

It's good for us, we'll still secure his best years and if he's playing well enough, no reason we won't offer him a 1 year deal at the end of this one.

I imagine he's getting fairly compensated too, a highly valued player and there's probably some coin freed up over the coming years with Riewoldt, Cotchin coming off the books soon.
