Gary Rohan pretty bad given he was playing on a witches hat

A solid 7 touches and 1 behind for Rohan today. Despite the medal I'm more than confident to proclaim him the worst grand final player in AFL history.

2014: 7 disposals
2016: 5 disposals
2020: 5 disposals
2022: 7 disposals

24 touches and 1.2 over 4 games.

He's laughing now and I can't take that away from him, but I'd argue there are 100+ blokes around Australia playing country footy who would offer more over 2 Grand Finals than Gary offered over 4.

Doesn't read well does it. But I guess he is the one laughing at the moment, with a premiership medallion around his neck

Fair enough. But a) we didn't need him to do anything today and b) we wouldn't have beaten the Pies without him.

I find the whole grand final 'choker' thing somewhat fascinating, especially for a bloke who's played in 4 (more than most players can dream of). He would've played in packed out crowds ample times, surely there comes a time you adjust to the occasion. That being said he averages 9.59 possessions a game over his career so it's not like he underperforms that much from that perspective.

Trying to figure out why 2017 is listed here - do you mean 2020?

Carlton's Mark Athorn in 1993, no contest.
You have to ask what on earth Parkin was doing - he had him on Michael Long of all people. Incredible, poor bastard was always going to be on a hiding to nothing there.
