Whatever…:D

He was still a weird choice as captain of that side. Like making Sam Lloyd the next Richmond captain
And he fvcked off back home to WA after the game, didn't he?

Lol, you're a dickhead. Thanks.

He was very good in the 1992 GF.

I was trying to remember him. I thought he had one good year, the rest was average in a great era for them.

Come on guys, this is a no contest.

As much as its fun to slag off at players from your "least preferred" opposition, the "winner" is Aaaron Keating and daylight second. Not only the worst GF winning player - he has a strong case to be the worst player ever to play AFL seniors.

Having stunk it up so badly in Round One that the coach kicked him downstairs for the rest of the season Keating fell arse backwards into a Prelim because he was the only uninjured, unsuspended player left to choose. It's fair to say that he maintained his Round One form nicely.

And then the Grand Final. 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1(tackle). In a seemingly impossible performance the man never once in the game held the football in his hands.

No contest.

Dual prem winner but a complete plodder.

Really?

In the GF against Hawthorn LRT had a very similar game to Cyril. 14 touches with moderate impact; but featured in some crucial key plays.

In 05 against the Eagles he was undisputably the Swans best player, and would have a Norm Smith on his shelf if Judd had not had one of the greatest GF performances ever in a losing side to pinch the medal.

The guy is often written about as a "September specialist".

So yes, it's a really odd choice.

Particularly if you go up a few posts and take a look at a bloke who got through a winning GF without once holding the ball in his hands.

Must of been a pretty amazing team to still get the job done with such a passenger.

Lewis Roberts Thompson is the worst nomination so far.

Was a decent player over the course of his career and actually was pivotal in the 2005 and 2012 Grand Final wins.

2005 was the worst grand final in history where the Sydney game plan was to bore their opponents to sleep. And by 2012 he was basically a free loader running around the half back. Did bugger all so Im not sure how you are saying he was pivotal. Only about 3 or 4 players had really good games in that GF. The rest made so many errors, and had very little impact.
