What about Justin Westhoff? Although he's young (22 years old), he set himself extremley high standards from last season and didn't really perform, only kicking 20 odd goals from 21 games this season.

Thornton - i may be biased for carlton but although he's nothing special, he does his job well
Betts - maybe ... had a few really good games but in general not a very good year
The rest - i don't know enough about to comment

Also Bower - is going to be a great player

Ackland probably is deserving of a spot in the team =, however the ruck division was the most hotly contested with some good competition from laycock, street, jamar and cloke

Hansen-unlucky played with injury a few games
Hooper-not that good a player but not that bad either
Betts-mmm would be in the team maybe for most inconsistent but not bad enough for worst team

In bold I've highlighted players that did alright. Tivendale did alright for Richmond by not being there.

Pettifer actually got injured and couldn't get back in.

Yze had a great game against Collingwood and was dropped the next week. He got 2 Brownlow votes but was accused of being greedy.

In italics I've put the players that have been and continue to be duds. Was hoping we'd lose Jamar.

Leigh Brown looks like he was made for this game. No excuses!
