Would you want Harvey ?

If your football club had the opportunity to sack its current coach and hire Harvey would you ?

I've gone through each of the clubs and these are my thoughts.

Brisbane-Yes
Carlton-Yes
Collingwood-No
Essendon-No
Geelong-No
Hawthorn-No
Kangaroos-Yes
Port Adelaide-Yes
Richmond-No
Sydney-No
West Coast-No

I would like to know each sides supporters view because clearly in this day and age contracts dont really matter.

He has built a list which is now ready made to have a genuine crack i believe. He inherited abit of a trainwreck and has turned it around really quickly.
I believe last year when freo had a fit list especially early in the season they were playing a style of football which would of stood up at the business end of the season.
Ratts i tossed up over, but just as an overall package he still does not strike me as a senior coach. Media, tactics etc i just don't see him as the man to lead carlton to the holy grail.

Voss i am amazed has a new contract, that is purely because of hes status with in the club no other reason.

Primus again probably stiff but he hasn't been as strong as i would like in the media.

I think Brad Scott is a very ordinary match day coach and hes selection (the 22 he selects each week) in my view leaves a hell of alot to be desired.

Voss should have stayed at West Coast under Woosha as an assistant for a couple years and learned the ropes but I guess when the Brissy job came up it was too good to not have a crack at.

Damaged goods now, he's finished. Coaches who are sacked during their tenure and replaced with a better coach don't usually get gigs elsewhere. I'm thinking Brittain (Pagan), Robert Shaw (Ayres), etc.

And I wouldn't want him at my club in any capacity as there are better operators than him.

I agree that he won't get another senior gig. Only remote chance is Melbourne, but it would be highly unlikely.
