Adelaide coach apologizes for pointing his finger and pushing Rutten at quarter time in weekends game.
I never thought I would ever in my lifetime see a coach having to apologize for his actions with his players, especially grown men.
How precious has all this become? He has obviously been told to make a statement and apologize by the club or the AFL.

Just when you thought you had seen it all, the AFL deliver another copy of the Womans Day.

Sanderson should've told the media where to stick their own fingers. They're grown men for fork sake. My rugby coach is a lot fiercer than that with us. You take it on the chin and move on. If you're coach is talking to you like that it's usually your fault. Harden up and play better.

No apology needed there, what a joke.
Did Ruttan complain to the AFL or Club looking an apology, I think not.

Should have been left on the ground on gameday.

You reckon Geoff Toovey would have apologised?

Hardly an apology, he was simply asked the question by the stupid reporter

"I'm a bit disappointed that I let myself get to that level," he told reporters on Wednesday.

"I should be a bit calmer in those situations but sometimes the anger and emotion spill over the edge."

Sanderson said his response to Adelaide's sluggish start against the Dogs, who kicked seven goals in the first quarter, was "as animated I have been with this group."

Sanderson said Adelaide players had no issue with his outburst, but he later sought out Rutten.

"I caught up with Truck (Rutten) who was the main one that got caught on vision," he said.

"But you have got to pick your targets - he's one of our senior players and most experienced player.

"I wouldn't do it to a first gamer or second gamer or one of our younger players because you know you would lose them for the rest of the match - but Truck was one you knew you would get a response from."

He also went on to say that he gives them type of sprays at training

Give it time. Players will soon be wearing bibs with their positional allocations and pleated skirts.

As if rutten would have given two shits sando 'pushed' him

Seriously I agree. However some dogooders outside the playing circus will not like it so needs to appease them. There are some players however who are notorious for whinging about receiving contact though in sporting games they play outside AFL and post retirement. They are bigger sooks than 9 year old girls.
