Gee you love potting Newport. Ever actually met some of the people there? Can guarantee there are as many great people as any other club. And as many clowns as well. Its a different culture to most but its still a footy club.

Bachar will contribute more than he will ever owe to them next year and beyond. The club will surprise more than you think.
Too right. I went to newport last year for a praccy match, good club with good people. Would go there and watch a game if I was in the area for sure. Found Sunshine to be the same way also!

Newport are a very competitive club and a very competitive footy team. Have been ever since they returned 8 or 10 years ago. As a new club, adapted very quickly to the old D3 (won it year 1?), and then adjusted just as quickly to the old D2.

Doubt they will be tailed off next season in D1, their competiveness as a club won't allow it. They would need some good signings, but they could surprise and compete well.

Langshaw might see some close games next season.

Hearing they’re throwing some money around as well so they may actually be able to compete in Div 1

Rockbank just appointed an assistant coach from Nth Sunshine?? I really hope the kid goes alright but this is a bizarre call.
Just because he was at nrth sunny doesn't mean shit mate, nrth have no players, rams are way ahead and seems like a good place for him, also look at his cv! Not bad for a young bloke

It’s a good position for a young aspiring coach imo. I’m also positive there wouldn’t be people knocking down the rams door to coach them either. Plus what type of coin they offering for the position..
Good on young Grech for having a crack I say. 👍 and the Rams for giving him the opportunity..

Not knocking a young bloke for having a go.

but if I've won 2 games in 6 years... I'm not hiring a bloke from the one team we did beat that had a percentage of 4.

Yeah... 6 different clubs in the last 6 seasons. Amazing CV. Lazy by Rockbank... They haven't done any homework on the bloke at all. Hope he sticks it out.

4 coaches, 5 presidents and counting in 4 years.

Ya couldnt make this stuff up.

My mate tells me there is a handful of nuffies running the joint that have no idea.

Good luck coach you will need it 👍
Always doubters for struggling clubs, would love to see him have the opportunity as a head coach and make the club competitive, keep putting down the club mate, they will win a few

I dont know much about the clubs in question but if things are as bleak as you make out, how many well credentialed applicants do you think they'd have had for the role?
Who should they have targeted?

I'm sure they'd also love a bunch of high quality footballers to walk in & play for free too but you've got to be a little realistic.
