We will see this week if any players have gone with the coach. Stevie lane will be taking over as far as i know.

I can tell you for a fact that the Marmo Brothers are taking over for the rest of the season as CareTakers Co Coaches. Any decision on the Senior Coach will not be made in a week and I'm sure Braybrook will have a process that even Sheppa has to follow to get the top job. Note: There are a lot of players looking at boycotting this weekends matches for the rough and disgraceful way this mess has been conducted and managed over the weekend by the administrators of the club!

hey evo how long before yourself and lozza angwin are back playing

i wont play this year at the monent...i have no fitness and a heap of weight that has to come off before i play again....at this stage i will be playing rnd 1 next year after a massive pre season. big laurie angwin should be back hopefully in next 3 weeks maybe earlier maybe later depending on clearance from his surgeon.

listened to your 3 1/4 time speach you asked the boys to get front spot at a stoppage(ball up-throw in) obviously i watched if they responded to you and my opinion they didnt......just my obsvervation.......i like listening to oposition coaches speak and you have been the best speaker along with nth foots coach in the way you demand things from players you just dont have the cattle........

um yeah your going in the right direction and need a bit more talent and these types of games you will win when the pressure is on.........

thanks for the complimant with the speach....that was on of the things i asked the boys at the last break and the stats i had after game showd we actually won clearances 8 to 6 in last 1/4 but with 7 direct turnovers from clearance...so yes they did what i said but it held little regaurd than what i thought it would because we turned it over once we had it.

we are set for another big game this week against albanvale at our big ground so hoping for another great game.

dissapointing for braybrooke coach as i thought he was on right track the few times i spoke to him...verystiff with players availab ility on saturdays too from what i hear.

I drove past braybrook last night, not 1 person on the ground training. but what I finding interesting is the playing group were all in there car's pulling bongs.

No not really, Deer park will be lucky to get a game this weekend, and if we do get a team up it will be nothing special, by the looks of it, unless things turn around.

No reason was given to the players as to why the coach was shown the door, Hence the walkout of the bulk of the senior list. Not sure what will happen this wkend witht the likely scenario being that an extremely undermanned side will run out at 2 oclock saturday the way things are looking at the moment. The players had a meeting last night and the general consensus was to play out the rest of the season and see what direction the club go's from their.

Nathan is a very good Div 2 footballer but not the best in comp in my opinion.

From the teams we played and the best player should be judged on a seasons performance and not one match and also you need to take into account how sucessfull the teams are as that also make a diffrence in each players performace.

Its hard to compare forwards, middfielders and backman so i have mentioned the stand out performers for the year.

Midfielder: Endres is a quallity player, Robo is one of the best midfielders along with Wills from Yarraville and Jeuguen is a probally the best centreman as he tends to stay at home alot and use the ball very well by foot. The big bull from Parkside is also a very good player in the middle. Number 20 from Nth Footscray is a great midfeilder as well. Ollis from Yarraville will be a gun of the comp over the next couple of years. Dennerly from the vales is a quality midfielder and would be better in a better side.

Forwards: Davis is a great player, the two deer park boys are very dangerous across half forward(forgot there names) and Zurek will hurt you if given to much space and not given respect.

Backman: Kennedy dominates at this level with his size and benifets from teams kicking the ball straight to him. Tyrell off half back in a good player and constucts alot of Parkside rebound and is one of the best flankers in the comp. Wells from lavo is also a good rebounding half backmen but like Tyrell can be very accountable at times.

Any thoughts on Midseason teams of the year, premiership predictions and leading goalkicker and best in comp?

I think one of the Deer Park forwards you were talking about is Buttigieg-Clarke, absolute gun! I'm not sure how old he is, but he looks young, and looks to have a very bright future, hopefully one day gets the chance to show it against the big boys in Div.1.

You put Kennedy from Lavo in your best few defenders? From what I have seen of Lavo, he is a pure ruckman and the only on they have so that has confused me a little bit. You also said he benefits from the opposition kicking the ball to him, I think you might not be showing him enough respect. I've seen the kid play a few times over the last couple of years, he seems very athletic and I think he gets himself into the right positions. It's hardly his fault if midfields and forward continue to kick and lead to the same spots all day.

I also like the braybrook ruckman, Lever, bit undersized but has a real go and can run all day. They'd do well to keep onto him if its true that most of their players are on the way out.

On your forwards, I don't know about Zurek from Laverton being in there. Seems to have kicked a few goals against weaker opposition but been very quiet in recent weeks. This new found modesty is something else though, I wouldn't hold it against you if you included yourself in the best handful of forwards for the year, you've been solid!

On another note, Parkside for the flag, no doubt about it. Won't even be close!

Kennedy was put in there as he played against us in the backline for most part of the game. I would probally agree with you on Zurek but no matter who you kick the goals agianst you still have to kick them tho.

Braun from Braybrook is a gun midfielder too i forgot to put him in a great player for a long time now and a champion.

My only focus at this stage is on helping my team win enough games to play finals football which i think we still will. That is my only goal is to play finals and it will be a battle with Lavo but i think we still will do it.

Lavo have 2 games which they will most likely loss over the next few weeks and we have Coburg and Albanvale. I still think bar parkside any team from 2 to 6 can win on any given day and really give oourselves a chance against Albanvale.

We have played good football against Nth(should of won) and Parkside(1st half) over the past 2 weeks and we will be a big chance of beating Albanvale in a fortnights time.

Lavo have a much harder run home than Yarra. Out of the last 7 Lavo have only 2 guaranteed victories.

Yarra have Coburg, Nth Sunshine, Vales, Braybrook which in current form we will beat and Deer Park, Albanvale, Lavo as our tough matches/must win but hold no fears about playing either Deer Park or Albanvale.

If we beat Lavo we will take 5th spot but we are hoping to pinch a match against Deer Park or Albanvale or hopefully both. Even tho we lost to Nth and Parkside if we carry that form into our last 7 games we can win them all from here on in.
