Shit, you know you must be doing something right to have so many haters out there.
If Kenna played for any of your clubs, you would be on here telling us all how good he is.
Weapons- You question why people get on here and say he's the best player in the league, yet I've never heard Kenna say that, he is all about the team and I think he's shown that knocking back big money to stay at Lavo where he played his juniors, in fact last time when we played Deer Park they were the ones who kept bringing up that he was voted player of the year by the umpires. Are you jealous at DP that you can't keep hold of your gun juniors without having to throw cash at them? If he gets suspended or not, noone can question his dedication to the Laverton Footy Club and to his teammates.
Ruby Jane, the best on the wrfl website is supplied by people within the club, people who understand what kennedy's role is in the side. His leadership and things he does on the field that are looked at by our coaching staff and people who know what is going on in the club also contributes to him getting in the best. Ask any Laverton player, and any time he gets in the best not one player would have a complaint about it. If he did have some sort of deal with the club to put him in the best, I wouldnt complain because as I've said before the kid gets no cash from the club to play there, put him on the open market and he's getting $500+ a game no questions asked and earning all of it.
All this talk about Laverton being no chance isn't really suprising. We got pumped on the weekend, but 3 keys players were out. McNally, Zurek and Lawrey (All of whom could be somewhere else getting some coin) were missing, they might not make up the 15 goals or whatever from the weekend, but they certainly help. I'm not going to say we'll smash DP or that we'll even win, but I'm going to assure anyone reading this, it will be much closer than last weekend.
To the bloke bagging the standard of play in D2, I've said it before and I'll say it again, obviously you are a superstar player, why don't you come down to Lavo and show us how to play, and improve us all as players, we're always willing to listen to champions like yourself, or are you one of those could have if only he would have got out there champions?
Cain- Good season from yourself, agree with everyone else, enjoyed reading your stuff, hopefully your back at Yarra next season and we can continue the Lavo/Yarra rivally that seemed to have built up this season.

Mate, I saw the game and I think your mates not being able to get a pass within 10 metres of you didn't help your cause. It also looked like a few boys had their minds on other things rather than fighting for the pill.
i got no doubt he is 1 of the better players in the comp.......and yeah any 1 who wins a comp medal has arguably earned that right........what im saying is good players/comp medalists dont do what he did on the w/e due to frustration or what ever goes on during a match........you just dont do it.......thats why he gets the thumbs down from me
..........your coach asked at 3 1/4 time ''yarra is getting beat dont do anything stupid'' i know i was listening to it and then for him to do that was shocking maybe the younger blokes shouldnt look up at him the way you think........cause if our best player did that he'd cop the suspension on the chin and not fight it.....i got no doubt you guys have improved the image of that club but at the end of the day that incident seen by all at a centre bounce just shows that maybe some things dont change.......never the less we wernt in your situation so who knows.......i cant see you guys kicking a winning score and if the big fella is out its gonna make it real tough......you can rattle on all you want it was a disgrace

Just so you know, he's is one of the kids. He's 21 or 22 years old, every week the other team goes out of their way to hurt him and intimidate him, he reacted once and your out there trying to hang the kid. Of course I'm going to stick up for him because I know what sort of a leader he is, and if the younger blokes look up to him, it is for a good reason.
Noone saying what he did was a good thing, it was a bit silly but why don't we wait for the outcome of the tribunal to see what happens, I think he will be playing next saturday so if I were DP i would be preparing that way.
well why dont you show some balls and tell us what he did..........or what you didnt see it...........lol

i took a keen eye to that contest just knowing something would happen.......or he would do something silly after being involved in a smallish malee/push and shove and giving away back to back goals.......but to put your studs into an opponents stomach when he was wide open looking at the ball with his arms up looking at the ball was a joke.......and then after the game a few d/p people were calling him ''kicker'' he was smilling with his thumbs up back to them where is the credibility in that.............?

haha, actually i genuinely didn't see it. A few too many cans and a bad score line kind of killed off my interest in the game. The way you describe it, it sounds bad, the way I've heard others describe it, make it sound not so bad, I guess thats why the league has a tribunal to decide who's truth is the right one. No point specualting here when we'll just find out tomorrow.

Your getting a bit sensitive weapons, I'm quite happy to read your point of view, however if you don't like people having a different opinion to yours, perhaps it is you who shouldn't be posting and replying on here. I thought the point of this website was to create discussion on issues, or is just to read what your opinion is and agree or not reply?
I'm not going to sit here and read what you have said, slagging off a bloke, who is a leader in nearly everything he does and not stick up for him. You can give him as much as you like from the sidelines, I doubt him or any of the other boys will really care, we have bigger fish to fry than one or two drunk Deer Park fans who are unable to cope with people who disagree with anything they have to say.

not getting sensitive what so ever but at the end of the day footy is a contact sport and if players dont like it they should take up golf or tennis.........and by you saying he cant cope with it which he didnt on the weekend im sure there wil be alot more focus on him not only in this finals series but in years to come.......

Haha don't read between the lines too much mate. I'm not saying he can't cope with it, hence him not being reported at least in his last two seasons with Lavo. Before that I have no idea about his record with being reported. He can cope with, but maybe the thought that the season was blown got to him a bit and he let his frustration boil over. I'm not sure, obviously I'm not inside his head, but that would be my take on the issue if it is an issue.
I can't wait for the game, hopefully both sides are at full strength and the best side wins.
