Laney didn't play - something about getting his wheelchair serviced. He trained last night so will be right for round 1. Paul Smith, one of the Assistants coached on Saturday with a little input from others.

Aiden McNally didn't play after round 14 last year, which included the finals. Baines was reasonable without being exceptional. I think he was very surprised to be in the team of the year in a back pocket considering he never played their! Barna missed a large slice of last year while at the World Cup. His absence in the PF through injury really upset our balance, but I don't think it would have made the difference against Glenorden. Obviously all players are a loss, but we think we have covered them with our recruits.

Saturday's attendance is a worry. We'll address it internally and move on. To be honest, I don't think you will see the best of West Footscray until the 2nd half of the season. Round 9 or 10 should have us cherry ripe!

yes and what a win it was no broken bones hahahahaha plenty of my sheronas on mad monday and the comp i play in also have a campionship final which we won as well the best team out of 28 not bad at all hahaha just got off the fizz ready to talk some footy............

GBF no games for coburg unable to find a ground were meant to play braybook or hadfield council wouldnt allow us???i guess there are alot of other teams in the same situation how are you guys travelling ready for round 1 know we are only a week off who do play with again is it north footscray or west

If the ground is no good Heights get the first 4 games at home (makes for a long run of away games at the other end though)

Sorry TD but being a bean counter I'm very busy at the moment with monthend and all. Quite happy to continue the debate of the 2 usernames next week. Cant speak for AL though. Wouldn't have a clue who he is.

only time will tell blueboy any reasons to why deer park wont have any chance i would like to hear them have lost 1 player which he was in the team of the year in mark allen............. things have picked up in the last couple of weeks beat werribee centrals by 84 points last week and it will be the first time weve had 18's in the last 5 years which would be good for the future the changes around the club are starting to happen which will be great..................

Good point Weapons. If Deer Park have only lost one player from last year's team and pick up a couple more, then they will more than just make up the numbers.

Wrong again. The only two people who know I was with from 6pm til 1.30 am at a function we had and I am sure you were not there.
