I'm against any team having to fold but the WRFL is a rabble if they let division 2 premiers into div 3
There surelly has to be some sort of thing where they only can earn like a possible of 2 points per win!

The great WRFL!! It will never be any different boys.. If a player has any talent they need to play in another league like the EDFL.
Now on this issue - I'm interested to see if they only have a senior team as I assume this is the case. I probably agree with the decision as long as there is some provisions. Want them to be competitive but shouldn't be allowed to participate in finals.. The selection of their team each week could have ramifications for other sides coming into finals.
On the other side of the coin what about the teams that have struggled for reserves in the past, and other clubs that have folded!! They should give the league a gob full of abuse..

That's a good point.. The league wouldnt give a sh##, they probably didn't even consider this..
Yet did they fine clubs in previous years for no reserves?? Probably as they like to take from the battling clubs..

What about implementing a player points system for Parkside for this year.. This might stop them recruiting or have a number of div2 players return before or during the season..

i agree 100% its not right at all. i also dont want to see parkside fold but its a little unfair springing this on division 3 a few weeks out from the season. if a alot of their gun players return they should not be able to play for 4 points at all.

Spot on batman we have lost 17 out of flag side last year and only 16 at training last night we are looking to field one side only.Meeting tommorow night regarding options no coach ,4 on committee so wouldn't be panicking yet or saying this and that about wrfl hold your horses boys doors still could be closed tommorow

The question is will noloyalty kick 10 goals against Parkside... If so and with 2 extra games he might kick 150 plus.. Lol
Hold your tickets.......was at the league meeting last night and they are having a meeting with Parkside on Thursday. There ressies last year would have beaten Tarneit and Nth Sunshine and with most of them staying and add another of there 5 or 6 senior premiership players who haven't left as yet will make up a good team in divvy 3. Can remember 2 seasons ago when Nth Footscray lost a heap of players before the season and were going to struggle badly but at least they played the season out with a lot of 30-40 goal hidings along the way in divvy 1
